Versions of the Peugeot 308 restyling
The main novelty related to the engines of the 2018 Peugeot 308 restyling is the arrival of the new diesel version from 130 CV homologated Euro 6 C. The most powerful 180 hp diesel version is combined with the new 8-speed automatic gearbox EAT8 developed in conjunction with the Japanese manufacturer Aisin.. This gearbox allows you to operate the Stop & start system as early as 20 km/h until the complete stop of the vehicle.
Switching to gasoline versions, the new Peugeot 308 can count on the evolution of the 3-cylinder PureTech, now more efficient and cleaner: the exhaust gases circulate through a catalyst and an active particulate filter gasoline with passive regeneration (gasoline particle filter). The Peugeot 308 1.2 PureTech 130 has a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
