It finally sits a notch below the Seat Leon Cupra with the same power as the Golf R. Compared to the base GTI, the aerodynamics were slightly revised and the TCR adopts new shields and a specific rear diffuser. The 18-inch standard pneumatic lift can be increased to 19 inches.
The stick rims allow to guess a reinforced braking based on perforated discs. Two radiators have been added to ensure optimum engine cooling. This 4-cylinder turbo is associated with a 7-speed double clutch automatic gearbox. A self-locking differential is part of the standard equipment of this super GTI which is distinguished by a new upholstery mixing fabric and micro-fibers. The door inserts and the speed lever knob are also covered with micro-fiber.
